Poor little Addi has a diaper rash. We are putting some barrier cream on every time we change her and trying to air out her bum in between cares. Jordyn was weaned down to 4 liters on her High Flow this morning and then she was discussed during NEO meeting this afternoon. They decided to wean her down again this evening to a 3. As long as she tolerates it they will keep weaning her and trying to get her off her breathing machine. Travis, one of only like 3 male nurses in the NICU, was our nurse tonight and he told me that oxygen is like a drug and they want to wean her as soon as possible and have her body do more of the work.
