Bert had a Basketball game tonight and there was quite the crowd there to cheer him on.  These kids got so loud towards the end and there was so much energy in the room but unfortunately they lost and are out of the tournament now.

I set myself a new goal to bake more often and try some of the new recipes I have piled up.  I started with an oldie but a goodie: Oatmeal Coconut Chewies.  Yum!

Right before we moved into our house, Tiff and Becky were kind enough to paint our playground with a special paint that was supposed to last the test of time.  Well, here we are 3 years later and this is how it looks.  My big project this summer is going to be getting all of the chipped paint off and figuring out what to do with it so it's not such a splinter hazard every time the kids play on it.

We went to see Zootopia tonight with all of the Williams family to celebrate Tessa's birthday.  This was the first movie I've taken the twins to and they did pretty good.  They definitely took advantage of having so many adults and laps to sit on and they kept jumping from person to person.

Last spring when we took out all of our river rock and replaced it with bark we put down a weed barrier that works great for weeds but this pesky grass still creeps up through.  Thankfully it's not too hard to pull out and it looks good again.

Casey and Megan got married today in the Mt. Timpanogos temple.  We were invited to the sealing and then to the luncheon afterward.  It was a fun day visiting with friends and celebrating the happy couple.

I helped out with Jackson's field trip today.  The field trip was up at the Junior Achievement City in Salt Lake.  I had to drive up early to have a parent training and then the kids came up in the bus. The kids have to run this "city" and get a feel for what it's like to be an adult.  They learned how to write out checks and use a debit card and then they each had jobs in different areas of the city.  Jacks worked in the Zions Bank for his job today.

Cooper had to build a Leprechaun Trap for school today.  The girls and I went over to see all the traps in his classroom today.

Tiff and I drove down to New Mexico yesterday for Sydney's wedding.  Mom, Dad, Chris and Kaycie had all driven down the day before and Erin and Dave came down this morning. It will be a really quick trip so I'm glad Bert stayed home with the kids.  It was nice to be able to visit at the reception and not be distracted by the kids.

Rylee helped Dad make dinner tonight.  He found a new recipe online called Meatball Sub Bake and he and the kids really liked it.

I went with Cooper's class on a field trip today to the Museum of Curiosity at Thanksgiving Point.  Ren (Jude's dad) and I were in charge of this group of kids.  The kids all had a great time and no one got lost so it was a great day!  Cooper's teacher, Miss Seamons, brought her selfie stick and took pictures with each of the groups and then with the whole class.  We have really liked having her this year and hope she'll stay at Cherry Hill long enough for the girls to get her as well.
