Silver Lake & Tibble Fork

Erin and Dave went camping last week up American Fork canyon and the kids and I went up to spend the day with them at the lake. We first went to Silver Lake but it had been drained quite a bit and there wasn't much of a beach area to play on. Mostly just mud. So we ate our lunch real quick and drove to Tibble Fork lake.

This picture is so priceless! He totally takes after me and doesn't like to be dirty! He had thrown a rock in the lake and this splattered back on him! He was so mad and wanted me to clean him off right away.

These boys can get pretty dirty, pretty fast!

Baby Tate was soooo good all day! He was content to sit in the backpack or on a blanket on the beach!

This is about as far in as they ever got! The water was pretty cold and the mud was very slippery.

We were going to spend the night and then go home in the morning but it started raining around 5:30 and we didn't really want to stay after that. It would have been so hard to entertain the kids in the tent all night!

Bee's Game

A couple of weeks ago we went to a Bee's game up in Salt Lake. Bert got free tickets from work so we headed up with Tiff, Erin and her fam, and Casey! We had a good time! I was worried that it would drag out and be too long for the kids and for me (because sometimes my attention span is as long as the kids when it comes to sporting events ;) , but it actually went pretty fast and no one ever complained of being bored. The boys spent most of the night looking and asking for The Bee! They always wanted to know where he was and if he was out entertaining crowds they would get excited and point. Just now as I uploaded these pics and started blogging them, they saw the picture and were just as excited and are asking to go to the Bee game again. It was a lot of fun!

Singin in the Rain

Some of the Keele women got together last week and went to see Singin in the Rain at the Hale Center Theater. I had so much fun! They did a great, great job with it! That has been one of my favorite musicals for a long time! I used to watch that movie all the time growing up. It reminds me of my Grandma Williams and I wished so much that she could have been there with me watching it! I had a great time ladies! Let's do it again real soon!

My cute little cross-dresser!

I bought 2 new pairs of shoes about 2 weeks ago and the boys can't get enough of them. They ask to wear them around the house and sometimes they don't ask and they just come walking out of my room with them on! It's pretty funny to watch Cooper try to walk in them! He does look really cute in them, doesn't he?

Payson Lake

We went up to Payson Lake on Friday with some of my family. It was a really fun day! We took Erin and Dave's canoe and just played in the water and on the beach. I think the kids really enjoyed themselves!
