Music

I turned on some music so everyone made their way over to the radio and sat in front of it and danced.

School Lunch

Jacks likes eating school lunch most everyday but Cooper doesn't want anything to do with it.  He checks the menu to see what they're serving before he decides but 95% of the time he wants home lunch.

Almost There

She's getting so close to crawling!  Right now it's a peg-leg crawl and she's definitely more motivated when I have snacks!

Tessa's Party

Tessa had a bike birthday party today.  Coop's learned how to ride this week so he would be ready for the party.  He did great and actually won one of the races (which he was very proud of!)

The kids loved it and had a great time!!

Sleep Study

Jordyn had a sleep study done last Thursday.  Intermountain Homecare brought me a special monitor and I hooked her up to it at bedtime and didn't put her oxygen on.  She slept all night without her oxygen and the monitor recorded how she did.  They came to pick it up the next day and downloaded the information to Dr. Hoffman's office.  I've been trying to get a hold of them all week because I've been so antsy for some information and Dr. Hoffman called me back tonight around 9 to tell me she isn't ready to be done with her oxygen yet.  40% of the night she was below 90.  He wants me to bring her in and we'll try to get an echo done on her to see how her Pulmonary Hypertension is and if it has gotten any worse.  I never would have thought she would still be on oxygen after this long.  I really hope we're done soon because she pulls it off her face all the time and is so tired of wearing it!

Bert's Trip

Bert had some training to do in Santa Barbara this week.  He left early Monday morning and came home tonight right before the kids went to bed.  Mom came to stay with me the nights he was gone since the babies don't sleep very good and because I've had a horrible cold.  It was so nice to have her help and have someone to tag-team all the waking up at night.

Picture Time

Cooper loves posing for pictures with the girls.  He held them for me today while I vacuumed the rug and then he wanted me to take a picture when I was done.

Hot Stuff

Tiff took Rylee to the mall to ride the escalator for her sleep chart "treat."  Then they did a little shopping at the Disney store and bought Ry some new sunglasses.  Jordy kept them on a lot longer than Addi :).

Rock Party

We have this big hole in our backyard that one of our neighbors said the original owners built as a root cellar.  We decided it was too much of a hazard with the little kids playing out in the backyard so we needed some rocks and dirt to fill it in with.

Thankfully, Erin and Dave just built a house and haven't finished their landscaping so their whole yard is rocks and dirt.  Dad, Ben, Nick, Tiff, Bert and the kids all helped load up the back of Ben's truck and Dad's trailer and then they hauled them down and helped fill the hole.

We're not done yet but we made a big dent in it!

Sock Sleepover

Nana and Papa invited the older grandkids over for a Sock Sleepover.  They played fun games with their new socks and then got into their pajamas and watched Snowball Express.

Crawler

She's started crawling more up on her hands and knees, especially when she's naked and doesn't want to feel the cold wood floor!

Stuck

Jordyn pushes backwards and pivots and gets around the room pretty well but occasionally gets stuck and needs me to help fish her out.

Look-Alike

So many people tell me that Addi looks just like Cooper did when he was a baby so I thought it would be fun to see a picture of them side by side.  What do you think?

Follow-up Clinic

We had NICU Follow-up clinic again today and the girls were great!  Our appt was at 8:30 and we left there just after noon.  I'm sure they were very tired but they were only fussy right at the end.  They also showed off all their new "tricks" right on cue for the physical therapist so she could see how they were doing developmentally.  They saw the opthamologist, audiologist, nutritionist, pediatrician, physical therapist and had their measurements taken.  Everyone said they are doing great and there are no concerns right now!  We are right where we should be!  Bert and I enjoyed visiting with the parents of another 25 weeker who was born just a few days after us.  It's fun to see how far their baby has come too!  Our NICU was amazing and I am so thankful for the doctors and nurses.  It's scary to think what would have happened without them!!

Goodbye Deseret Medical

We have new insurance again because Bert's company was bought out so we are going back to Intermountain Homecare for Jordyn's oxygen.  We had been using them since she came home from the hospital but then his insurance changed January 1st and they didn't accept the new insurance.  Now we have one that they will accept so we are going back to them so we can have one big tank that lasts about 25 days (instead of changing out the little ones every 3 days) and a better SAT monitor for weaning Jordy (instead of this thing that looks like it's from the 80's!)

Horrible Sleepers

The girls have been horrible sleepers lately.  They get up 3-4 times each at night.  They have gotten into the habit of being rocked to sleep so they wake up and want to cuddle.  Sometimes they'll go right back to sleep but last night Addi woke up so I got up to rock her back to sleep but as soon as I tried to lay her down she would wake back up again and we would have to start all over again.  Bert and I have been taking turns getting up and we are both exhausted.  All of our other kids would get to this point and we would just let them cry but the idea of doing that with 2 seems so overwhelming.  Plus, Jordyn is still on oxygen at night so we usually swaddle her arms down so she doesn't yank it off her face.  Anyway, I woke up ready for a change so I've been researching online and this is a popular book on my Moms of Multiples Facebook group so I bought it and, if I can stay awake long enough to read it, we'll be able to fix this problem.

Ry really enjoyed dessert at Grandma Keele's tonight.

Luke's Baptism

The big kids and I went up to Heber today for Luke's baptism.  It was a nice day with family!
