Jacks' lost a tooth yesterday and found a dollar under his pillow this morning.

12/25/15

We got a ton of snow Christmas morning so the kids had to wait in our bed while Bert finished shoveling.  It gave the girls time to wake up but it was like torture for the boys.

Santa brought Cooper a Kindle Fire tablet.  Jacks got a new bike and the girls got a dollhouse.  They didn't want to stop playing with it when it was time to open more presents.

I finally got around to making some of our blog into a book and gave it to the family for Christmas.

We went to see The Good Dinosaur for our Christmas Eve movie today.  Then we gathered at Nana's for dinner and a Christmas program.  The kids all performed talents after dinner and then they acted out the nativity while Papa read the Christmas story from the scriptures.  Afterward they opened up their new Christmas pajamas and we left and drove around looking at Christmas lights.

Gram's asked Tiff to help curl her hair and of course Rylee jumped at the chance to help.  She's always asking Tiff and me if she can fix our hair.

These two little sneaks disappeared today and I found them like this.  They had found Nana's iPad and they took turns holding it and watching Sofia.

We made Gingerbread Houses at Nana's house today.  Addi was really into it and enjoyed snacking on the treats when she wasn't putting them on her house.

All my girls have had runny noses and coughs for a few days.  Jordy was pretty fussy and whiney today and wanted to be held a lot so I brought her in to the doctors office.  I was worried that she might have an ear infection.  The doctor confirmed that she does have one in her right ear and gave us a prescription to take care of it.

We started the Christmas puzzle today.

We started a new tradition today with the girls in the family.  We gathered at Nana's house and made Christmas candy together.  Nana made Peanut Patties and Erin made homemade Caramels.  I was in charge of the little bite-sized Turtles and Tiff made some Peanut Brittle.  It was super fun!

The girls and I ran a bunch of errands today and stopped for lunch at Arby's before heading to Rylee's dance class.  It was a busy, busy day getting ready for Christmas!

Our "Advent Activity" tonight was to have a red and green dinner.

My girls love to be naked.  They love to run around naked in the mornings before I get them dressed for the day and then again in the evening before we put our pajamas on.  There are even occasionally times in the middle of the day when they ask if they can be naked.  I'm hoping it's a phase they will eventually grow out of.
