The Canyon
Last night Bert and I took the kids up the canyon to see the leaves. Unfortunately, we missed all the vibrant fall colors, but we still had a good time together. The boys enjoyed playing in the leaves and their favorite thing was throwing rocks into the river. We all had a great time! It's amazing how these small, simple activities are the ones you remember and cherish the most! I feel very blessed to have a great husband and 2 great kids!!

the last pic is great. There is something about kids and throwing rocks in water. My brother used to take his family to a cabin up north for summer vacation and the kids would throw rocks into the lake all day every day.
I absolutley love the first photo of you and the boys! Holls, I have to say, you are incredibly beautiful!! And you guys make cute kids! There, I said it. :) I love the fall! Matt and I are taking a trip up this weekend. I hope we didn't miss the colors!!

We actually talked about going to the Red Barn. I would love to go to the canyon together. Let's plan a time....hopefully it will get a little bit warmer than today!!
Yeah, that sounds totally fun! There are some chick flicks out that I've been wanting to see if you're up for a movie too. What would you like to do and when works for you? I can pretty much do it any night, so let me know. I could make us dinner over at our house if you wanted to come see it or we could go grab something. Just let me know. Cute pictures up the canyon! Your boys are so cute! I love your family pictures too, they look great. We need to get together for games or something soon.

You know. the canyon is one of the things I missed MOST about living in Utah! What a fun family evening- and such a good shot of you Hol! Gorgeous!!! Wish we could have joined you!!!!
