We celebrated Ry's birthday tonight over at my mom's house. My boys didn't want anything to do with their 1st birthday cake. They wouldn't even touch it. I thought for sure Rylee would be different. She loves to eat everything! And she is becoming more independent and wanting to feed herself a lot of the time. But...it didn't happen. Tiff smashed her hand in it because she didn't want to touch it. Then she smeared that all over herself but she didn't want to eat any of it.
At first, she was more interested in the bow than opening her presents.
But then she got the hang of it. She got lots of cute new clothes and some new toys.
This was her cake. Mom, Tiff, Erin, and Shelly Ann all helped make it last night. It came together pretty quickly and I was very pleased with how it turned out! It tasted really good too! Red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting. So delicious!!
