Bert and I celebrated our 9th Anniversary today! Peggy watched our kids while we went to La Jolla Groves for dinner. I really liked it. The food was delicious. Bert liked what he got, he just didn't get enough of it.:) So after dinner we decided to go down to Sammy's to try one of their famous pie shakes. We had been wanting to try one for a while and it just hadn't happened yet. Unfortunately their ice cream machine broke right before they were going to do our order so we had to wait a long time to get our shakes. I thought my shake was okay, not anything special, but maybe that was because of all the hype and because we had to wait so long to get it! I can't believe it's been 9 years!! Love you Bert!
