Baseball

Utah definitely has some crazy weather! Saturday felt like Spring and we spent most of the day out in the yard and at the park. And then I wake up today and it's windy and snowy and freezing cold! Anyway...here are a few fun pics of our beautiful spring Saturday.Jacks is getting pretty good at hitting the ball.At first Cooper didn't want anything to do with baseball and just wanted to play on the swings...Then he changed his mind and decided he would try it out. After we played baseball, we headed over to the park to fly a kite with Tiffany, Erin, and Luke. It would have been better if it was just a bit more windy. But they still had fun and then loved playing on the slides at the park. It was a beautiful day and got me so excited for nice warm weather again. Hopefully it will come back soon!

Misc.

We finally made it up to the Draper Temple Open House and it was really nice! We went with my parents, and Tiff. The boys really liked it and still talk about it. I think their favorite part was actually the bus ride from the Stake Center to the Temple (it doesn't have much parking so they have you park a few minutes away and take a bus). I took these pictures while we were waiting for my mom and dad to come pick us up. These boys can be such posers! It really is nice that they are finally old enough to both smile in the pictures.


I gave all my boys haircuts last Saturday! They all needed it pretty badly. So since they were all looking nice, I decided to take a picture...boy was that a mistake. It took about 10 tries to finally get a good one with all three. And surprisingly it was actually Bert that was ruining most of them. He has the hardest time keeping his eyes open when the flash goes off. What a dork!!

I'm so happy it is starting to warm up finally! We got the wagon out of the shed tonight and went for a walk as a family. I love the spring and I can't wait for all the blossoms to come and the flowers to start blooming!! (I hope all the perennials I bought and planted last year will come back again!)

Disneyland

The boys and I went to Disneyland last week with my sister, Tiffany, and my brother, Ben, and his family. We had a blast! Jacks' wasn't afraid of the Characters or rides this year so that made it really fun. Cooper didn't have a good first day because he was so tired and I took him on a dark ride first (Peter Pan) so it set him off. But then he did well the rest of the trip...anytime it got dark or kinda scary he would just lean into you and hold tight. He was, however, not as brave when meeting the Characters. It's been kind of hard for me to adjust to coming back to regular life! I feel like I have a boring life after having so much fun last week! But it will get better! It was an awesome trip and I'm really glad we went! We had great weather...it rained one day but we just put on ponchos and stuck it out and the lines were so much shorter! Anyway here are some pictures from our trip...
