Tiff came over today to try out a new recipe. She went on a school trip recently and tried a Salted Caramel Ice Cream sandwich. So she found a copycat recipe and we made these macaroon cookies with crushed smoked almonds inside and then we made a homemade salted caramel ice cream to go with. They were very time consuming but they turned out really good.
