RadKids
Jacks has been participating in the RadKids program at school this year. It's an awesome program that helps empower the kids to fight back if someone ever tries to take them or make them do something they don't want to do. Today was his graduation and they invited the parents to come and see what the kids have learned.

Watch D.O.G.S.
Bert walked the boys to school today and participated in the Watch D.O.G.S. program (Dads of Great Students). He was there to help in classrooms and got to eat lunch with the boys and walk them home too. Bert had a great time and the boys loved having him there!

I went up to West Jordan tonight and Lauren and I went out to eat and had some fun shopping at a jewelry store.

Jordy's Hospital Visit
Jordy was crying a lot when she woke up from her nap and I was worried that she might have an ear infection because she's had a runny nose and goopy eyes the last few days. I called into the doctor and they fit us right in. While the doctor was checking her Jordyn just laid there and hardly moved which made me nervous. He said she did have an ear infection and as we were talking I realized she hadn't had a wet diaper all day. Her oxygen saturation level was 85 according to their monitor so the doctor sent us down to the hospital to have an IV of fluids and possibly stay overnight. I cried the whole way there because it felt like deja vu and I was having some NICU PTSD.
Bert joined us at the hospital and Mom, Dad, and Tiff all stayed with our other kids. She crashed after they put the IV in and slept on Bert's shoulder. The doctor said if she would drink some fluids and have a wet diaper then we could go home and sleep in our own beds as long as I promised to bring her in again immediately if there were any more concerns. We got home around 10 and she went right to sleep. Poor Addi didn't like going to sleep alone tonight and woke up a couple of times asking for Jordy. Bert would hold her up and show her that Jordy was in her bed and then she'd go back to sleep.

Sick Girls
These two haven't been feeling well for the last few days. They both have bad coughs and runny noses. Hopefully they'll start feeling better soon.

Cooper's Bday
There was no school today so we spent the day celebrating Coop's bday. He wanted to go to Hangtime with cousins and then everyone ended up back at our house for some taco salad (which is one of Cooper's favorites) and then he opened presents. He picked banana splits for his birthday dessert. Happy 8th Birthday Coops!

Car For Sale
Bert got the car all washed and vacuumed yesterday and then took lots of pictures. We are putting it up for sell on KSL Classifieds and then hoping to get a Honda Odyssey when this one has sold. We had some issues with the engine last summer and spent so much money getting it all fixed and we'd like to be done with it before anything else breaks. We also need something with more cargo space for when we travel. The back of this car just isn't big enough for all our luggage and baby gear when we go on trips.

Piano Lessons
Jordan's been giving the boys piano lessons for the last month. He comes over to our house and he does such a good job with the boys. I've tried a couple of times to teach them but it just never stuck so one day I was asking Jordan if any of his siblings taught and he said no but that he would love to do it. He used to teach when he was in high school and hasn't had the opportunity since then and he said he's missed it. It's been working out perfectly and the boys are finally learning to play!

Naked
Every night the girls ask to get naked and then they run around like wild animals. It's impossible to get a good picture of them because they never stop moving.

Sunbeam
Today was Rylee's first day in Sunbeams. Rylee was so little when the twins were born and because they were quarantined for so long, she never really got to go to nursery. I think she will love Primary once she gets over her shyness. I stayed with her the whole time while she's getting used to her teachers.

"Rock-a-bye Baby"
Both girls were fussy tonight and wanted to be held so Bert rocked them to sleep. I think they're still recovering from the quick trip over the weekend.

Traveling Home
They did really good until about Tremonton. We stopped at a Burger King for dinner and then I sat by the babies for the rest of the ride home. They were pretty fussy for that last hour. We were all so excited to pull into our driveway and get out of the car!

We've been spending a lot of time at Dave and Julie's house, but this afternoon Bert took the older kids bowling while I took the babies back to the hotel for their nap. Afterwards we went back to Dave and Julie's for dinner and games.
