Jacks-Harry Potter, Coop-skeleton, Ry-Sheriff Callie, Addi and Jordy-rodeo queens

Halloween was a lot of fun this year.  Addi and Jordy were more interested this year and loved getting candy.  They got tired of their costumes and so did Bert and I.  We had to help hold up the head and front legs every time they walked around so they wouldn't trip.  We said we were only going out to a few houses in the neighborhood because the kids already had so much candy from the ward party and the work party but we didn't stick to our plan.  We even ended up in our old neighborhood visiting friends and trick-or-treating over there.

I checked the boys out of school a little early today and then we headed up to Bert's work for their annual Halloween party.  They let the kids trick-or-treat from desk to desk and then have carnival type games in the break room afterward.  We always have a good time and come away with way too much candy!  After we got home, Bert and the boys changed their clothes and went to a BYU Basketball game.

Cooper handed in his Habitat Diorama today.  The habitat he created is the Forest.  He had to have 4 different animals and 4 different plants displayed in his habitat.

The kids went to see Beauty and the Beast today at The Hale Center Theater.

Today was Drew's birthday and we had a party at his house.  Ben set up a fun obstacle course for all the kids and then they each took a turn hitting the pinata.  Afterward we had pizza and then cake and ice cream.

I didn't realize until we were already at church today that Jordyn had put on 2 left shoes.  Oh the problems that only a twin can experience!

We've been having a great vacation.  Bert gets up and goes to work in the morning while I lay in bed and watch TV or read.  He comes to pick me up for lunch and then I do my own thing again in the afternoon while he works.  Then we end up somewhere yummy for dinner and do some shopping or go to a movie in the evening.  Today for Bert's birthday we went to lunch at a golf course and then in the evening we walked the pier for a little bit before going to dinner.  A couple of his work friends joined us for dinner and we ate at an Italian restaurant that Bert loves.  We end every night by picking up some ice cream from McConnell's before heading back to the hotel.

The kids are having a great time at Ben and Becky's while Bert and I are on our trip.  Becky texted me these pictures today.  I was a little worried about Addi and Jordy but Becky said they have been doing great.  They are going to bed easily and sleeping all night.  It makes it so much easier for me to relax and enjoy my time away when I know they are being well taken care of and having fun with their cousins.

Everyone was invited to Ben and Becky's this morning for breakfast and to watch General Conference.  After a quick breakfast, Bert and I drove to the airport for our trip to Santa Barbara.  He is going for work again and I am tagging along for a relaxing vacation.  Our kids are going to be staying with Ben and Becky.
