Mulch

We finished our mulch project today.  When we moved into this house there was river rock in the flower beds and I didn't like it.  So we've been working at it all Spring and we got all the rocks out.  Today we laid down new weed barrier and spread out the mulch.  I love it!  It looks so much better like this!

Last Day of School Party!!

We invited all the Williams' cousins over for pizza and a sleepover to celebrate the last day of school.

Little Red Riding Hood

Cooper was in a play in his classroom today.  He did a great job as the Big, Bad Wolf in Little Red Riding Hood.  He remembered all of his lines and was very animated.  It was fun for Bert and I to go and watch him and his friends.

Garden Path

I spent my afternoon doing this today.  I love how it turned out and I love that it fills up some space in the endless flower beds that we have in our backyard.

Pack Meeting

The boys took their bikes to Pack Meeting today and learned how to fix a flat tire and then went on a bike ride through the neighborhood.

Dance Festival

Jacks' class did a square dance and Cooper's class danced to a song from The Goofy Movie.

Haircuts

I asked Shelly to cut off the wispy baby hair on the girls and even it all out.  They held so still and looked so much older with their cut a little shorter.

I've been toying with the idea of cutting bangs on Ry for a long time and finally decided to do it!  Her hair falls straight in her face if I don't have it up in a clip or a rubber band.  He hair is so fine and thin that it breaks easily so she has a lot of little short hairs in the front where I'm always putting something in to get it out of her face.  

It took me a couple hours to get used to it and at first I didn't think I was going to like it but now I think it's so cute on her and I love how easy it is to do her hair!

Mountain Man

Jacks' class had a program today.  These are his friends: Micah and Colin.

FaceTime

Bert's in Santa Barbara again so the kids and I have been FaceTiming a lot with him.

Cards

I'm getting to be quite the pro at playing cards with Ry since she wants to play all the time!

TT's Bday

Today was Tiff's birthday and all of the kids ran out to give her a big hug right when she got here.

Sharing

One of the great things about having siblings is you can finish their dinner when they are full and you still want more!

Pioneer Trek

Jacks had is Pioneer Handcart Trek today.  He learned how to make butter and play pioneer games.  He earned a bead at each station he went to and got to do lots of different things.

Robin Egg

We have a bird's nest in our carport.  It was fun to watch the bird build it and see how much it would grow each time I went out to get in the car.

Payson Temple

Peggy watched my little girls today while I took the boys to the Payson Temple Open House.  It was so beautiful and a fun way to spend time with my boys.
