Blue & Gold Banquet

Tonight was our ward's Blue and Gold Banquet.  Cooper has already earned his Bobcat so Sister Davis presented it to him tonight.

Crazy Hair Day

Crazy hair day at school today.

Burnt Bananas

One of my girls turned a burner on low today while these bananas were on it.  I kept hearing weird noises coming from the kitchen and there was a weird smell in the house too.  Mom dropped by for lunch and noticed that the burner was on and the bananas were burnt.  Who knows how long it would have taken me to figure it out.

Addi and Jordyn are so rough with their books.  Some of these board books were given to me when Jacks was a baby and have survived my 3 older kids but they didn't stand a chance with the youngest two.  This was the throw away pile today and it's not the first time I've had a pile this big to throw away.  I'm trying to look at the positive and just be grateful that they enjoy books so much!

Babies' Shelves

The shelves are finally hung.  It has been a definite labor of love with lots of issues and trips to the store.  But they are finally up and hopefully secure and today I got them all decorated.  I love how they look.

Scripture Scavenger Hunt

Bert and I made a scripture scavenger hunt for Cooper to be able to use his new scriptures that he got for his baptism.  He was sent all over the house looking for clues and dollar coins.  He collected $20 total and 8 candy bars as the grand prize.  It was a fun family home evening.

Birthday Party

We celebrated Addi and Jordy's 2nd birthday and Ben's 37th tonight.  We had the whole family over for dinner, presents, and cake.  These last 2 years have flown by and it's hard to believe they are already 2.  They have come so far in their two years of life and I am so grateful for how well they are doing.  They seemed to have caught up developmentally with other kids their age.  What a blessing!  We love these girls and love having them in our family!

 

 

Party Decor

Bert and I decorated the living room for the birthday party tomorrow night.  Addi and Jordy are turning 2 and since they didn't get a party last year we want this one to be extra special.  We are doing a Tinkerbell & Periwinkle theme.

Welcome Home

The girls love being able to go to the corner and watch for the boys to walk home from school.  As soon as they see the boys they take off running to give them hugs.

Dog

My mom is dog sitting for her friend and she brought the dog over this afternoon for the girls to see him.  Rylee and Jordyn were excited about the dog but Addi was very nervous.  She wouldn't get down off my moms lap and cried whenever he came near.  She kept calling the dog a horsey and would tell him "No horsey, no!"

Cub Scouts

 

Tonight was Cooper's first time at Cub Scouts.  He was able to go to Pack Meeting right after his birthday but this was his first time with just his den.  He was excited!

I've been working on getting a bunch of projects done lately and finishing up these letters was one of them.  I didn't realize when I started how much work they would be but I am very pleased with the end product.
