New Year's Eve

Nick entertained the little girls while the ladies were in the kitchen making all the delicious Chinese food.

Lego Store

Tiff and I took the boys up to the Lego Store at the Fashion Place Mall today.  She gave them gift cards for Christmas and they wanted to check out the store and spend their money.  They both bought something and didn't waste any time coming home and putting it together.

Christmas 2015

The boys came up and woke everyone up around 8 this morning and then we all headed out to the living room together to see what Santa had brought.

Ry asked Santa for a new play kitchen and she was so excited that he brought her one.

Tessa and Bree made these for Rylee to hang up in her room.

It even snowed today and everything was so beautiful and white.  The girls had fun touching the snow and the boys got busy playing a little football in the back yard with Dave.

Christmas Eve

This year our Christmas Eve movie was Big Hero 6.  After the movie we all headed back to Nana and Papa's to play some Christmas games. 

 Then we headed over to Peggy's for dinner and a program.  We had a talent show and the kids all participated in the Nativity.

Pop's Funeral

Today was a super sad day.  The funeral was really nice.  Mom gave the life sketch and then Rick spoke.  He shared memories of Pops that he had collected from all of the grandkids.  I have so many great memories with Pops and always enjoyed spending time with him.  We will miss him so much!  Love you Old Man!!

I always have so many helpers when I'm packing for a trip.  We're headed to New Mexico tomorrow for Pops' funeral.

Yardi Christmas Party

Tonight was Bert's work Christmas party.  We had a really good time.  The food was really good and the entertainment was even better.  They hired a hypnotist to come and he invited about 10 people to come up on stage and be hypnotized.  Everybody was encouraging Bert to go up so he finally conceded and it was so funny to watch.

Sad News

I got a phone call this morning that woke me up.  Mom was calling to say that Pops had passed away in the night.  She packed up this morning and was on the road around 11 to head down and be with Grandma and help with funeral preparations.  It's been a sad day.  We will all really miss him.  This is my favorite picture I have of him.  He's famous for never smiling in pictures but Tiff and I got him to smile for this one and I have always loved it!

Christmas Dresses

The girls wore their new Christmas dresses today and they looked so cute in them.  The boys got new Christmas ties to wear too but they rushed downstairs and changed before I could get a picture of them.

Progressive Dinner

Tonight was our traditional Progressive Dinner.  We started at Tiff's with appetizers then headed to Becky's for salad.  Erin and I were in charge of the main dish at our house and then we headed to Mom's for dessert and a Christmas story.  We always have a good time and love this tradition!

My 32nd Birthday

Bert took me up to the Cheesecake Factory tonight for dinner.  It was so yummy!  He gave me tickets to see The Forgotten Carols (which I've wanted to see for a long time) and also a card that says we are going to stay the night in Salt Lake at a hotel after his work Christmas party.  He's got babysitters all lined up for both things and I'm looking forward to the break.
