Painting Party
We had a big group show up today to help paint the new house. We got the twins room, Ry's room, and the family room all painted. We were also going to paint the boys room but, after we started, I decided that I wanted a darker color of gray in their bedroom.
Mom and Peggy watched the babies for me so I could be over there helping too.

Torticollis
Addi has developed torticollis in her neck. She turns her head really good to the right but can't turn it to the left. Her muscles are stiff on that one side. We have a Physical Therapist from Kids on the Move coming to work with her and help correct it before it gets worse.

Outdoor Movie
The cousins all gathered at Nana and Papa's tonight for an outdoor movie. They watched Despicable Me.

Painting the Playground
Tiff and Becky, and a few extra helpers, painted our new playground today. The varnish had come off completely and I was worried about the kids getting splinters while they played on it. This paint is supposed to last forever and never need touching up. We'll see...

Pump Bra
Ry likes to put my pump bra on and walk around telling everyone she's pumping. This has been one of the best purchases I have ever bought. I have been able to: eat lunch, feed babies, play on the IPAD, fold laundry and a bunch of other stuff, all while pumping.

Eye Appts
When we were released from the NICU, the girls' eyes were still not fully matured and they said I would need to go in for weekly check-ups with Dr. Carver and Dr. Corey for probably 10 more weeks. The first appointment took forever. They brought us in early in the morning so the babies aren't sitting in the waiting room with other people and they dilated the girls' eyes. Then they left us alone for a while and when the doctor came back in, their eyes still weren't dilated, so he put some more drops in. They left again for even longer this time and then finally came back and looked at their eyes. We were at the doctors office for an hour and a half. We did this routine for a few weeks and then I got fed up with it and asked if I could take the drops home and dilate the girls' eyes before we came. They sent me home with the drops and the next appt was less than a half an hour. Well, we got the all clear today from Dr. Corey that the girls' eyes are fully matured now and aren't at risk for R.O.P. anymore!! It's such a relief to be done with these appointments.
We signed on our new house today! It's officially ours! We're going to paint the kids' rooms and move the washer and dryer out of the kitchen. Then we're ready to move in.

All Dressed Up...
...and nowhere to go.
Bert and I went out to dinner tonight to celebrate our 10th Anniversary. It was the first date we've had in a long time! We went to Texas Roadhouse. Bert gave me a new wedding ring that I've been wanting for a long time. I gave him some new shoes. :) Thanks for Mom and Peggy for watching the babies and to Tiff for entertaining the 3 older kids.

First Real Photo Shoot
Kirsten came over today to take some pictures of the girls. They were not very cooperative. I think they would have done so much better if we had done them right after they came home from the NICU but since they both got sick and Jordyn got put back in the hospital, there just wasn't a good time. We still got some really cute ones. Thanks Kirsten!
