Mom's Sick Day

I woke up with a stomach ache today so Bert took a sick day and stayed home to help with the kids.  I stayed in bed until about noon and then finally had to get up to use the bathroom.  Despite the stomach ache, it was really nice to be able to relax and sleep or read in bed while Bert took care of everything else :).  He took Ry and Cooper on a walk during the afternoon so the house would be quiet.

Toothless Cousins

Tessa's tooth came out tonight at Nana's and Jacks lost his last Tuesday!!

Yum Yum

After Cooper's soccer game we all loaded in the car and headed to Apollo Burgers for dinner.  Nana & Papa, Tiff, Becky, Me, and all the kids!

Tessa's Program

Tessa's in mom's kindergarten class this year and they had their end of the year program tonight.

Toothless

Jacks came home from school today saying that he had 3 loose teeth.  I figured one would come out in a few days but then he was sitting on the couch tonight right before bed and was fiddling with it and it started to come out.  We went into the bathroom and I pulled it all the way out.  Guess the tooth fairy's coming tonight!!

Dustin Forsyth

Ben invited us over for ice cream tonight so we could visit with Dustin.  It has been a long time since we've both seen him.  Bert grew up across the street from him and he was in our singles ward before we got married.  It was really good to see him again!

Faceplant

Cooper was playing kickball last night and tripped into the fence.

Band-aids

This girl is getting so funny about playing with her toys.  I scattered all these toys around her while I was getting ready today and she was fussing and not really playing with them so I handed her the box of band-aids to see how long that would last.  She loved it!  It kept her entertained while I finished getting ready and then while I did the dishes!!

Girls Night

Lauren and Kirsten came over tonight and we ate pizza bombs!!  Trina came by after she got off work around 9:00 and then we all sat around and visited.  It's always fun to get together with the ol' college roommates!

Cold Sore

Poor Jacks has had 2 back-to-back cold sores on his bottom lip.  They are finally mostly healed and gone.  Poor guy!

Bert's boss stole the family picture from off his desk and tweaked it a bit. 

In the Kitchen

Jacks helped me make some Snickerdoodle Blondies today.  They were really yummy!  We took them over to Peggy's after Ethan's baptism.

Day Out With Dad

Bert took the day off to enjoy Spring Break with the family.  He took the boys to Trafalga to play mini-golf and then we all went to Red Robin with Peggy for lunch.  After lunch the boys wanted to go to the driving range with Bert and then we ended up over at Peggy's in the evening for games with John & Lynette.  It was a really nice day!  I wish Bert had more days off to spend with us!

More Bike Riding

We walked over to the church parking lot today to ride bikes and scooters.

Cooper didn't do a lot of riding.  He preferred pushing Ry around or playing in the dirt.

She loves being outside and going for walks in the stroller.

Wagon

We are really enjoying Spring Break!  We went over to Ben & Becky's today to ride bikes and play with cousins.  The boys were nice enough to take Ry on a ride in the wagon.

1st Day of Spring Break

Easter Sunday

The kids looked so nice in their new Easter clothes!  I bought Rylee's dress when I was still pregnant and I've been waiting and waiting for her to be big enough to wear it!  The boys were excited to wake up and find their Easter baskets that the Easter Bunny had hidden.  They had to wait until after church though to go through it and start eating the goodies!

Looking Good

Cooper and I went to Target today and he saw this hat and wanted it.  I told him he could buy it with his own money that he's been earning from his job chart.  He was going to save up for a Lego toy that he had seen but the hat won out!

I went to a late movie tonight with Tiff and Erin.  We went to see Hunger Games.  It was fun to get out and do stuff without the baby in tow!

Finally Sitting Up

4 Teeth

Ry has 4 teeth now!  (2 on top and 2 on bottom)  It makes for the cutest grin ever!

Mr. Cooper

Cooper loves to play school.  He pretends to be the teacher and sings all the songs he has learned from preschool.

Conference Weekend

It was another busy, but great, conference weekend.  We hung at home on Saturday and watched conference and then met up with Bert's family at Goodwood as soon as the 2nd session ended.  Then the kids and I hung out with my mom and sisters during the Priesthood session.  Sunday morning we headed over to breakfast at my parents house and hung out there for most of the day.  We left at 5:00 to head over to Peggy's for dinner.  Lots of yummy food, family time, and relaxing!  It was a great weekend!
