Daddy's Home

Bert's been gone to Las Vegas for the past 3 days for work.  We all missed him!  When Rylee woke up this morning I brought her into bed with me to drink her sippy of milk and she was so excited to see Bert that she almost jumped out of my arms to get to him and then kept pausing during her drinking to give him hugs and kisses.  We're glad to have him back again!

12 Month & 7 Year Check-up

Rylee and Jacks had doctor appointments today.  Rylee's stats are:

Weight: 20 lbs. - 30%
Length: 29.5 in. - 50%
Head: 18 in. - 60%

She had to have 4 shots and is right on schedule developmentally.  Jacks' stats are:

Weight: 46 lbs. - 15%
Height: 46 in. - 15%

I am very grateful to have healthy kids!

Chuck-A-Rama

Bert is out of town so the kids and I went out to dinner tonight with my parents, Nick, and Chris.

Learning To Tie Shoes

Jacks has gone through 4 pairs of shoes in the last year.  Two of them were Velcro and it just stopped sticking.  So, needless to say, we are done buying Velcro which means it is finally time for Jacks to learn how to tie his own shoelaces.

Standing

She seems so close to walking.  She's taken a couple of steps but mostly just walks along furniture or with her walker.

Leading the Music

Ry was watching the chorister in church today and then started waving her arm and leading the music along with him.

Speed

We went over to Peggy's tonight to spend time with Dave and his family who were in town for the Fantasy Draft.  The cousins spent hours in the backyard playing speed.
